Emirates NBD closed or froze your business account: what its terms say

As of October 9, 2026, these are Emirates NBD’s own words on closing accounts: the notice it gives, the reasons it names and where a complaint can go next.

Notice before closing

The Bank will provide you with written notice as per Applicable Law before closing your Account, including reasons for the closure, unless the Bank is required to close your Account due to any suspected violation of Applicable Law or for prevention of fraud or financial crimes on your Account.
