WorldFirst closed or froze your business account: what its terms say

As of October 9, 2026, these are WorldFirst’s own words on closing accounts: the notice it gives, the reasons it names and where a complaint can go next.

Notice before closing

16.2. Subject to clause 16.6, World First may terminate this Agreement by giving you no less than ninety (90) days’ prior written notice, unless the law allows us to terminate the whole or any part of this Agreement immediately.

Reasons it names for closing or suspending an account

World First may terminate the whole or any part of this Agreement immediately (or on such other notice period as we give you) by written notice to you … 16.6.1. we have reasonable grounds to suspect your World Account has been used, is being used, or will be used in connection with a serious crime; … 16.6.3. we are unable to apply checks required by anti-money laundering legislation; … 16.6.7. you provided us with inaccurate information and we would not have opened your World Account had you provided correct and complete information.

Complaints and where to go next
