LHV closed or froze your business account: what its terms say
As of October 9, 2026, these are LHV’s own words on closing accounts: the notice it gives, the reasons it names and where a complaint can go next.
Notice before closing
Unless otherwise provided by law or the Agreement, the Party has the right to terminate the Agreement by giving at least two (2) months’ advance notice to the other Party.
Reasons it names for closing or suspending an account
The Bank has the right to unilaterally terminate the Agreement with a compelling reason without notice (extraordinary termination). In particular, a compelling reason is when: … the Bank suspects the Customer or the Related Person of money laundering, a predicate offence or terrorist financing; … the legal entity Customer or the Related Person does not have a legitimate interest in concluding a payment service agreement as set out in Clause 5.3 of the General Conditions and/or a sufficient connection with Estonia;
Complaints and where to go next
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Financial Supervision Authority or turn to court to resolve the dispute regarding the activities of AS LHV Pank, AS LHV Finance, AS LHV Kindlustus or AS LHV Varahaldus.
These are the provider’s published terms, not legal advice. Your own agreement and the law where your company is may give you more.
