Revolut Business closed or froze your business account: what its terms say
As of October 9, 2026, these are Revolut Business’s own words on closing accounts: the notice it gives, the reasons it names and where a complaint can go next.
Notice before closing
We can close your Business Account at any time by giving you two months’ notice in advance. If you opened your Business Account on or after 28 April 2026, we’ll give you at least 90 days’ notice.
Reasons it names for closing or suspending an account
If you opened your Business Account before 28 April 2026, we may close or suspend your Business Account immediately (including access to other Revolut services like crypto or trading) if we reasonably believe that:
you’re behaving fraudulently or criminally
you haven't given us information we need
information you have given us is inaccurate
you've broken this agreement or another agreement with us or another company in the Revolut group … If you opened your Business Account on or after 28 April 2026, we can only close your Business Account immediately in certain circumstances set out by law.
Complaints and where to go next
If you’re not happy with our response, you may be able to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (see also below). … The Financial Ombudsman Service is not available to all types of customers.
These are the provider’s published terms, not legal advice. Your own agreement and the law where your company is may give you more.
