Ramp closed or froze your business account: what its terms say
As of October 16, 2026, these are Ramp’s own words on closing accounts: the notice it gives, the reasons it names and where a complaint can go next.
Notice before closing
Ramp may terminate this Addendum, or suspend your Checking Account, by providing you Notice.
Reasons it names for closing or suspending an account
If Ramp or our Partners believe that your use of the Checking Account violates any applicable law or this Addendum, facilitates any of the prohibited activities identified in the Prohibited Activities list, or otherwise violates any policy of Ramp or of our Partners, we or our Partners may take any such steps we believe are necessary or prudent, in our sole discretion. This may include refusing transaction(s), freezing funds, or suspending or closing your Ramp Accounts, including your Checking Account.
Complaints and where to go next
Before filing any claim against the other (whether in court or arbitration), Company and Ramp agree to try to first resolve the Dispute informally. … If Company is the Notifying Party, Company will notify Ramp by email addressed to legal@ramp.com.
These are the provider’s published terms, not legal advice. Your own agreement and the law where your company is may give you more.
