PayDo closed or froze your business account: what its terms say
As of October 9, 2026, these are PayDo’s own words on closing accounts: the notice it gives, the reasons it names and where a complaint can go next.
Notice before closing
PayDo shall notify You as early as reasonably possible about its decision to terminate these Terms under clause 21.6. hereof. However, PayDo reserves the right to terminate these Terms without any prior notice if providing such notice would constitute a breach of the regulatory obligations of PayDo and/or relevant legislation.
Reasons it names for closing or suspending an account
We may terminate these Terms or block and/or suspend PayDo Services provision and/or any payment transaction fulfilment if any of the following occurs: … We are required by an order from any regulatory body, Acquirer, Card Organization, or any other related party to cease providing Our Services; … If We determine that Your use of Our Services carries an unacceptable amount of risk, including credit or fraud risk; … Any other legal, reputational, or security risk or other risk-based reason exists at Our discretion.
Complaints and where to go next
If You remain dissatisfied with Our final response, and You are an eligible complainant, You may refer Your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) or, alternatively, bring proceedings before the competent courts of England and Wales.
These are the provider’s published terms, not legal advice. Your own agreement and the law where your company is may give you more.
